Time to pick up my new Tiger

The day had arrived for me to pick up my brand new Triumph Tiger 800.
Ange stayed at my place last night so we could leave early for the drive to Nowra.
We were on our way be 7 am. After a stop at the bakery in Goulburn for breakfast we took the Kangaroo valley route and I was not impressed with the rain and fog that we encountered on the way.
I was a bit worried about riding an unfamiliar bike with brand new tyres up those windy roads in the rain.
We arrived at the dealer - Nowra Motorcycles South by about 10.00am and the bike was ready to go. The engine bars were on back order and Triumph did not sent the longer bolts with the handle bar risers so these will have to be installed at the first service.
We decided to take the Nerriga road for the return journey to avoid the traffic. I had never been that way before but the dealer said it should knock about 1/2 off the journey and that there was only 1km of dirt.
So we set off. We did get some rain I had Ange pull over just after Nerriga so I could change my gloves to my winter ones as my hands were freezing. The Triumph hand guards installed provided no protection from the rain so I will change these at some stage (hopefully before winter).
