The Long Ride - Day 1

The day had finally arrived. I packed up my bike and headed off to meet the girls.

 Bike is packed and I'm ready to hit the road.

Next stop was a few km's up the road to wait for the men. Ange's bike, Me & Marilyn.

The first real stop was at Cowra for our morning cuppa.

It felt fairly hot in Cowra but was informed that it was only 22 degrees. After our cuppas we headed to Parkes where we had lunch. After Cowra the land was very dry. 


It was 32 degrees when we got to Parkes. I didn't take any pics at Parkes. After lunch it was a quick fuel stop in Narromine, then onto Nyngan which is over night stop.

Yes that sign in the distance does say welcome to Nyngan.
